What girls are afraid of weight training?

I just wondered why women and girls are so afraid to lift weights? Are you afraid? if so why? Or do you love it like me?
I lift and do cardio about 6 days a week and it not only tones your body but makes you look lean and healthy. I don’t get why people want to be so stick skinny. I love lifting and it works.
I meant girls around 18 years of age and up I am sorry for the confusion, I myself did not lift as a young teen either.

Thats very true. A common myth is if a girl lifts weights she will tend to get big and bulky. Not true. Females do not have enough testosterone in their bodies to get BIG. In fact is females lifted weights it would tend to make sleek, slender, and ****!

We have to do that at school and I am super small for my age so it is really hard for me to lift those stupid things. Considering you can die from doing it incorrectly, I don’t wanna get hurt because my teacher is evil.

I think most women are afraid that they’ll actually get big muscles. Of course that would only be true if they lifted hard and dedicated themselves to a body building lifestyle. Those women train like maniacs to get those cuts. Casual weight lifting will raise the metabolism and help burn calories, while building more muscle, which also burns more calories even when their not doing anything. There’s nothing wrong with a tanned toned woman that looks so healthy and healthy is ****! Good for you! A good diet and moderate weight lifting will keep you looking 10 years younger your whole life, you’ll live longer and be less prone to the problems that come with getting older, like osteoporosis and joint injuries..the list goes on and on…Good post!

girls are afraid that it will make them jacked like a *******. stupid im a guy and i lift weights 5 times a week trust me u need to lift A LOT to get jacked curling 5 pound dumbells wont make u look like a man i promise

I THINK THAT GIRLS ARE AFRAID TO LIFT WEIGHTS BECAUSE THEY THINK THERE GOING TO GET TO BIG, LIKE ARNOLD ON STEROIDS, LIKE IF IT WAS THAT EASY, THEY DON’T REALIZE THAT IT’S NOT THAT SIMPLE AND EASY GETTING THAT BIG. AND THAT IT TAKE A LOT OF YEARS OF TRAINING.

Teenagers don’t lift weights because weight lifting closes the growth plates and they don’t grow to theirr full potential, nobody wants to stay little
